An 80-year-old man named Ken Penda, who resides in a neighborhood of mobile homes in Hemet, California, used to spend time with his fourteen-year-old dog by taking him for daily walks and showing him unconditional affection.
Many neighbors came over to help Zack (the dog) after he became seriously ill one day. Unfortunately, Ken didn’t have enough money to bring Zack to the vet, so Carol Burt, a generous neighbor, assisted him by sharing a post online in the hopes that Ken would find assistance.
Thankfully, the founder of a rescue organization that helps dogs in need called the At-Choo Foundation, Elaine Seamans, answered the plea, and took the dog to a veterinary clinic, where they found that Zack was unfortunately on the verge of death as he had a 6/6 heart murmur, severe arthritis, and glaucoma!
Sadly, the dog died leaving his elder owner in grief! Ken tried to pass this pandemic, but unfortunately, it was too tough for him as he passed away because of a heart attack not long after Zack’s death! How heartbroken!
